Jamie Wall Continues to Build Grassroots Momentum
Wall Campaign to Stand Up for Wisconsin Middle Class Families & Small Businesses Has More than 1,000 Grassroots Supporters
MADISON– Eighth Congressional District candidate Jamie Wall today announced that his campaign to stand up for Wisconsin middle class families and small businesses raised more than $200,000 in the first quarter of 2012. Grassroots momentum continues to grow with more than 1,100 individuals supporting Wall’s campaign and the vast majority of them contributing $100 or less. Wall also now has more than $380,000 cash on hand.
“I’m proud of the strong base of support our campaign has built since October to bring common-sense solutions to Washington that invest in Wisconsin middle class families and small businesses,” Wall stated, “In addition to our vast number of grassroots donors who share our goal of creating good jobs, protecting Medicare and Social Security, and building a strong future for Wisconsin, I’m honored to have the support of so many volunteers who have donated countless hours of their time to our efforts.”
Since entering the race in October, Wall has not only established a strong fundraising base, but has also implemented a strong ground game, establishing five grassroots committees throughout Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District. Jamie Wall, a small businessman, was recently named one of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s eighteen “Red to Blue” candidates, designating him as one of the most competitive challengers in the country.

Democrats are high on Jamie Wall, a strong recruit who will announce later on Wednesday that he will challenge freshman Rep. Reid Ribble (R) in a Republican-leaning northern Wisconsin district.
